A bartender has his style, flipping bottles, sliding cups or you name it. But the most important while performing all their stunts and tricks are the methods used for finishing the drink with precision.
Below are some methods used whenever you order a drink:
Built: it is the process of adding one ingredient after another stacking them right into the glass.
Shake and Strain: mainly used to dilute and to chill the ingredients. Pour ingredients in the cocktail shaker add ice cubes, shake then strain while pouring in the glass.
Stir: pour in the ingredients in the base of the shaker, add ice and mix with bar spoon then strain while pouring in the glass.
Roll: rolling offers more dilution and aeration than simply stirring, but is more gentle than shaking. It is simply pouring ingredients from a container to another. Assemble the ingredients in the shaker base, add ice and strain in another tin increasing distance between vessels as you pour. Repeat this process maximum three to four times.
